Quality Control - Part 2 - Inline Measurements
Course Description:
This course examines advanced inline measurement techniques for quality control in dry-cast concrete manufacturing, focusing on both the wet side (before the kiln) and the dry side (after the kiln) of production. Participants will learn to monitor and assess critical parameters—such as moisture content, wet density, and water repellency—in real-time. The curriculum covers the principles of inline measurements, data interpretation, and effective implementation during production to ensure consistent product performance and appearance.
After taking this course, learners will understand:
• Importance of wet-side quality control
• Interpreting real-time data for process adjustments
• Techniques to calculate moisture content and wet density
• How to know if you made good product - final product checks
